Michaela Cook – publicly known as MICKS – is an Australian recording artist, social media personality, commercial model and entertainment influencer.

Micks has appeared on the Australian and United States Official iTunes Charts, and received International Radio Airplay across the Americas, the United Kingdom, Australia (Country radio) and Europe.

Whilst being considered ‘too mainstream’ by the Australian country-music institutions and ‘too country’ for the Australian mainstream media channels, Micks was forced to forge her own path independently.

The social media star fused country music’s values with her mainstream image, and in the process amassed over 1.5M social media followers; naturally stepping into the entertainment influencing and blogging space.

Micks experienced explosive growth online when she started documenting her surprisingly relatable life through pictures and videos. Focusing on promoting the actions of kindness, inclusion and acceptance; Micks continues to cultivate a loyal supporter base who enjoy being part of her positive online community, #TeamMicks.

With COVID-19 desecrating the entertainment industries over 2020-21, Micks continued to be featured in The Rolling Stone Magazine (IN), achieve two back-to-back no.1 Australian iTunes singles, appear as the lead campaign model for Australian retail chain Secrets Shhh, and release a no.1 music video in collaboration with Harley-Davidson Australia and Gasoline Alley.


Throughout the pandemic, Michaela is helping local businesses by providing her social media skills and modelling services to help the many struggling industries relying on diversifying in to survive.

Beginning her media career as a child commercial model, Micks is continuing her on-screen presence by appearing, hosting, and performing on various national TV shows across Australian networks Channel Seven, Channel Nine, and Channel Ten.

Michaela is a proud female business owner (KMC Records) and is in the process of launching a new media company, hoping to encourage other creatives to trust their instincts in forging their own path.
